Before you can log into your CompTIA certification account for the first time, you’ll need to create a password. You can create your password by providing your email address or your exam registration number.
Your email address and exam registration number
If you are creating your password by submitting your email address, please make sure that you are providing the email address that you used when you registered for your exam with your testing provider; such as Pearson VUE.
If you don’t know which email address you used, you can create a password by providing your last name, your exam registration number and a new email address that you want to use on your certification account. Your exam registration number is listed on your score report and in your exam appointment confirmation email.
If you don’t have your registration number
If you cannot access your score report or your exam appointment confirmation email, you can log into your testing provider account, which lists your exam registration number as part of your score report.
If you do not have access to your testing provider account, please call your testing provider for assistance. In most cases, this will be Pearson VUE, which can be contacted at (877) 551-7587, Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. U.S. Central Time.
Please note that CompTIA cannot help you retrieve your registration number.
If you’ve submitted your password information, but did not receive a reply from us
If you sent us your email address or exam registration number to create a password, but did not receive an email with password instructions, please check your email spam folder. Our email will show the address CompTIAnoreplies@comptia.org and the subject line “CompTIA First-Time Login Information.”
