How to Release Your Certification Kit

A complimentary certification kit, including a printed 8.5” by 11” certificate and a plastic wallet card will be mailed to you for each CompTIA certification you achieve. Kits are mailed via United States Postal Service First Class mail. Please allow up to eight weeks for delivery or return of your certification kit.

After you pass a certification exam, you will receive an email within five business days asking you to verify your name and mailing address. These instructions are also included on your score report. Your certification kit will not be processed and mailed until you verify this information.

Do not click the submit button if your name on the demographics page is incorrect. Instead, send a help request along with a copy of your score report and a valid legal ID showing the correct spelling of your name. We will update your record.

If your name is correct, verify your mailing address, make any necessary changes and click the submit button. Clicking the submit button confirms your name and mailing address are correct and releases your certification kit for processing. Once your kit has been released for processing, changes cannot be made. If the kit is processed and shipped with an incorrect name or if your mailing address has changed since you released your kit, there is a fee of $15 for a replacement certification kit.

Please notify us within 90 days of the complete date found on the fulfillment page on your record if you did not receive your kit.

CompTIA IT Fundamentals, CompTIA Healthcare IT and CompTIA Cloud Essentials certification kits do not include a wallet card. The replacement fee for these kits is $12.
