Change or correct your name

Your legal name must be on your certification account, not a nickname or abbreviation.

If there’s a capitalization or spacing error in your name, just send a help request with the corrections.

If your name is misspelled, send a help request and attach a copy of:

Your exam score report (include all pages)
Your legal ID, such as a valid driver’s license or passport

If you changed your name, send a help request and attach a copy of:

Your exam score report (including all pages)
Your legal ID, such as a valid driver’s license or passport
A legal document that includes both your old and new name
