If you hold one or more CompTIA Continuing Education (CE) certifications, you may be able to earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) toward your CE renewal requirements for the completion of a CertMaster course.
When CertMaster Courses are Valid for CEUs
If you achieved a CompTIA CE certification based on prior exam objectives, you can receive CEUs for completing a CertMaster course based on the most current exam objectives. For example, if you achieved a CompTIA A+ CE certification associated with the 700 series exams, you can earn CEUs for the CertMaster A+ 800 series courses.
If you achieved a CompTIA CE certification based on the most current exam objectives, you cannot receive CEUs for the CertMaster course based on the same exam objectives.
Number of CEUs Earned
- CompTIA CertMaster A+ 901 - 10 CEUs.
- CompTIA CertMaster A+ 902 - 10 CEUs.
- CompTIA CertMaster Network+ N10-006 - 10 CEUs.
- CompTIA CertMaster Server+ SK0-004 - 10 CEUs.
- CompTIA CertMaster Security+ SYS-401 - 10 CEUs.
CertMaster Certificate of Completion
Mastery of a question is achieved when you answer the question confidently and correctly two times in a row. A CertMaster course is complete when you achieve 100 percent mastery of all questions.
Once you have completed your CertMaster course, a certificate of completion will be available for download by clicking the Print Certificate link in the upper-left corner of the page. You will then need to upload the CertMaster certificate of completion to your CompTIA certification account in order to receive CEUs.
Please see the How to Enter your CEUs help page for step-by-step instructions for submitting your CEUs.
