It is CompTIA’s priority to create accessible learning products, specifically, to adhere to the latest Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) AA standard. As accessibility is ever-changing, we are committed to consistently work toward the latest accessible content guidelines.
For our products, accessibility has two parts: platform accessibility and content accessibility. Platform accessibility is documented by our vendors through Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates (VPATs), while content accessibility is documented internally by the product development team. Together, both documents present a holistic view of accessibility for the entire product.
Note: Content accessibility statements are informal statements produced by the product development team that validates groupings of content types but not line-by-line standards. Vendor VPATs cover the platform accessibility and are formal statements produced by a vendor after validation by a third party. The VPAT validates against accessibility standards line-by-line. These statements may be reviewed by downloading the attachments below.
If you require additional assistance or content formats, we will evaluate requests on a case-by-case basis and, if possible, make accommodations.
