Getting Started
Use this checklist as a guide to make adding students to your CertMaster Learn for Instructor-led Training classroom setup as efficient as possible.
Purchase Process
- On the CompTIA Store, you’ve selected “Classroom Setup With Student Upload” as the desired Delivery Method.
- Upon purchase you received the following two emails from CompTIA:
- Order Confirmation email
- A second email containing:
- An overview of the process for fulfillment
- How-to Resources
Setup By CompTIA
CompTIA creates your institution and administrator access to the Institution Admin Dashboard along with the specific number of seats purchased. The purchaser can designate the institution admin who will receive all initial setup communications from CompTIA.
Within one business day of purchase, you will receive the following from CompTIA:
- Institution Admin registration link
- Contract setup within your institution based on the number of seats purchased per course

Student Upload and Registration
Completed by Administrator / Instructors
There are two ways Administrators can upload students to the platform:
- Individually
or
- By list upload (CSV file)
During the upload process, Administrators determine whether to:
- Populate a password for students, which necessitates that admins communicate login credentials to students.
or
- Leave the password field blank, which enables an autogenerated email directly to students with a registration link.
Students can now log in directly or click on link to register.
After successful registration students may log in anytime at https://learn.comptia.org/login. If necessary, add additional administrators or instructors.
Note: Not all roles will be applicable to every institution.

Instructor Resources and Student Monitoring
- Log in at https://learn.comptia.org/login.
- Click on Boost Dashboard to locate instructor resources and/or monitor student progress and performance.
Note: Only users with the Institution Supervisor or Instructor role are able to access the Boost Dashboard.
