Here are a few examples of errors you may receive and what they mean:
1. “Unable to Validate Candidate ID”
You may have created a new account and your access key will need to be redeemed under your account that holds your certification. Sign in to your account with your certification to redeem your CompTIA CertMaster CE course.
If you do not have access to your account, please Submit a Help Request and provide the following:
- Full name
- Home mailing address on your account
- Email address on your account
- Candidate ID and/or exam registration number
2. “This Access Key Has Reached Its Maximum Redemption Limit”
You have redeemed your access key and you may access your training.
Please follow the instructions below to access your training:
- Go to https://login.CompTIA.org/training-products. (We encourage you to bookmark this page for convenience!)
- Log into your existing CompTIA account or Sign up now to create a new account
NOTE: CompTIA recently migrated to single sign-on (SSO), so please use the Reset your password option if you haven’t logged in through this page previously to create your new SSO password.
- You can access your training products in two ways: Option 1) Click on Access Training from the header of the home page and then click on your product type, or Option 2) Click on My Training Products from the account icon drop-down in the upper-right corner of the page and click on the product name.
3. “It Appears You Have Duplicate Accounts. Please Click the Help Button to Request for Our Support Team to Merge Your Accounts”
Please Submit a Help Request and provide the following:
- Full name
- Home mailing address on your account
- Email address on your account
- Candidate ID and/or exam registration number
