It's important to keep your CompTIA account secure. Whether you’re updating your password or resetting it, the process is quick and easy. Follow the steps below to manage your password efficiently.
Follow these steps to update your password:
- Visit the Customer Profile Page: Go to your CompTIA Account.

Log In to Your Account:
- Click the "Log In" button in the upper-right corner of the page and select "My Shopping Account."
- Enter your login credentials:
- Email address
- Password

Access Your Customer Profile:
- Once logged in, click on the letter icon in the upper-right corner of the page.
- From the dropdown menu, select Customer Profile.
- Click Update My Login Credentials.

Update Your Password:

- On the login credentials page, select the My Password tab.
- Enter your current password and your new password twice.
- Click the Save button.

Resetting Your Password:
If you’ve forgotten your password, follow these steps to reset it:
- Visit the Store: Go to www.comptia.org.

Access the Login Page: Click on Login in the top-right corner and select "My shopping Account.

Initiate Password Reset: Select Reset Your Password.
- Provide your email address in the designated field and click the Send verification code button.
- Check Your Email: Look for an email from CompTIA containing a reset code. Copy and paste the code into the text field on the password reset page.

Create a New Password: Follow the on-screen instructions to set a new password for your account.
Once your password is successfully reset, you will be redirected to sign in with your new password.
