A PDF copy of your active certification is an official, CompTIA-approved way to verify your certification status. You can also verify your status by sending a transcript or sharing your digital badge.
Important Note:
It may take up to five business days after your exam for the certification to appear in your account. Once it’s available, you can download a PDF copy of your certificate.
Steps to Download Your PDF Certificate
- Log in to your CompTIA account.
- Access your certification account using one of the following methods:
- Option A: In the top navigation bar, Click Certifications and then select Certifications from the drop-down menu.
- Option B: On the right side of the page, under Access Certifications, click View Certification Account.
- From the left-hand menu, Select the Certifications tab.
- Under Download PDF Certificate for the respective certification, click the PDF Certificate link to download the PDF.
Your PDF certificate will include:
- A verification code.
- A link to the CompTIA Official Certification Verification page.
When someone enters the verification code on the verification page, they’ll see the certification status and achievement date.
