What Is CertMaster Study?
CertMaster Study is CompTIA’s new, rebranded eBook offering, launching on the CertMaster platform on October 1, 2025, for English titles. Localized (non-English) versions will be available on November 3, 2025.
More than just an eBook, CertMaster Study provides all the core instructional material needed to teach the course:

- In-line interactive elements to reinforce learning*
- Lesson reviews & module quizzes to check your knowledge

What’s Not Included?
CertMaster Study is focused on instructional/knowledge content. As compared to other CertMaster training products, it does not include:
- Practice tests
- Simulation or live lab activities
- CompCerts
What’s Changing with the Migration?
CompTIA is transitioning from standalone eBooks to CertMaster Study on the CertMaster platform. You get the same content as before, but with a streamlined, interactive learning experience and enhanced platform features.

- Institutional and individual licensing options remain available
- Mobile responsiveness, highlighting, and note-taking features (NEW!)
- Pricing stays the same—just a better experience!
Migration Details and Customer Impact
Migration Timeline:
- Customers are encouraged to transition to CertMaster for new courses by mid-December 2025.
- After October 1, 2025, CompTIA Learning Center licenses for eBooks products will no longer be fulfilled through the store.
- Existing learners who start their courses before December 31, 2025, can complete them at the CompTIA Learning Center without interruption.
- CompTIA Learning Center licenses activated after December 31, 2025, will not have the full 12-month term, as the platform will sunset on December 31, 2026.
Access Key Exchange:
Customers may exchange unredeemed eBook access keys for comparable CertMaster access keys within one year of purchase and prior to the product version retirement date.
Simply submit a Help ticket at help@comptia.org, and CompTIA staff will assist you with an exchange. For approval, you will need to provide an order number and a list of unredeemed access keys.
