Overview
CertMaster Practice is moving to the CertMaster platform to provide a more unified and streamlined learning experience across all CertMaster products.
Beginning June 9, 2026, all CertMaster Practice titles will be delivered through the CertMaster platform.
What’s Changing?
- Delivery is moving from the Amplifire platform to the CertMaster platform
- SKUs and ISBNs remain the same, with internal variants distinguishing platform versions
- After June 9, 2026, all new purchases will default to the CertMaster platform
- The Amplifire platform will be retired in June 2027
- Customers who need the legacy version (e.g., for integrations) may still purchase it via manual orders
What Is CertMaster Practice?
CertMaster Practice helps learners prepare for certification exams by identifying knowledge gaps and reinforcing key concepts through:
- Practice tests (timed and untimed)
- Exam objective-based assessments
- Adaptive learning with mastery scoring
It can be used independently or alongside CertMaster Learn or CertMaster Perform for a more comprehensive learning experience.

What Is a Mastery Score?
A mastery score estimates how likely a learner is to answer future questions correctly within a specific domain.
It is based on:
- Past performance
- Question difficulty
- Recency of activity
Important:
Mastery scores are predictive and are not a guarantee of certification exam results.
Pricing and Licensing
- Pricing will not change
- Available as:
- Individual licenses
- Institutional licenses
- Supports LMS integration and Usage-Based Billing (UBB)
Legacy Product Access
- Legacy (Amplifire) versions will be available for purchase until June 9, 2026
- After that:
- All new purchases will be on the CertMaster platform
- Existing users retain access for their full 12-month term
Access Key Exchange
Unused legacy access keys may be exchanged for CertMaster platform access if:
- Purchased within one year
- Requested before product retirement
To request an exchange:
- Submit a ticket to help@comptia.org
- Include:
- Order number
- List of unredeemed keys
LMS Integration
CertMaster Practice integrates the same way as other CertMaster products:
- Uses the same integration tools
- Available within existing CertMaster LMS integrations
- UBB is not required for integration
Key Notes:
- Grades can sync to the LMS gradebook (if configured)
- Learners must launch via LMS links to access content
- Fewer graded items may result in limited gradebook entries
Important Notes
- Existing quotes with legacy products will still fulfill as quoted
- Quotes may need updating to reflect new SKU variants
- Customers using integrations should review setup before transitioning
