This video will show administrators how to assign multiple existing instructors to a contract in the CompTIA CertMaster Learn platform.

Hello, everyone! Today, we will be learning how to assign a contract to multiple instructors. This functionality can be used to assign a new contract to instructors who already exist within the platform and, if required, any additional new instructors.
This method is similar to uploading new users but focuses on assigning a new contract to multiple existing and new instructors. This function is performed by the user assigned with the Institution Admin role.
Once logged in, select the Instructors tab. Select Download Instructor CSV and it will download at the bottom of your screen. To see written instructions on how to edit your CSV, select the New Instructors dropdown and select Upload Multiple.
For this demonstration, we will show you this activity side by side. Once your CSV is downloaded and opened, delete all of the columns after email. This information is not needed to upload or assign contracts to multiple users. Name, email and password are the required headers, so we will insert another column with the header password.
Ensure that all three required headers are on your CSV file, even if you are leaving some information blank. Our password column will be left blank to ensure that existing users' passwords are not altered and new users will receive an automatic activation email once uploaded.
If you are assigning the course to specific users only, make sure to delete the users for whom the course assignment is not intended. Save your CSV file on your desktop for easy retrieval. After all edits have been made and saved, scroll to the bottom and select the designated contract.
Exclude the instructor from the seat count by selecting Exclude from the Contract seat count. Next, confirm the course related to the contract then select Choose File. Find the CSV and select Open.
You will now see the file name appear in the CSV file box. Then select Upload. You will be redirected into the Instructors tab. The Institution Admin will receive a notification on the mail icon on the top right of the screen once the upload is complete.
In addition, you will receive an email confirmation in your inbox. You have now assigned a contract to multiple instructors. Thank you for your time.
