This video will show administrators how to create a supervisor in the CompTIA CertMaster Learn platform using existing users.
Hello everyone. Today, we'll be learning how to create a Supervisor in your Institution. This functionality can only be completed by users who have the Institution Admin role. Users with the Supervisor role will be able to see the reporting for all the students in your Institution.
Starting out in the Institution Admin dashboard, we first want to navigate to the Admins tab. Once you are there, we want to select from the blue box on the right hand side labeled New Admin.
Next you'll be working with two required fields: the Name field and the Email field. Once you've completely populated that information, you want to move down to the Password field.
Adding a password is optional. If you leave the Password field blank, an account registration email will automatically be sent to the user. However, if you do decide to populate a password, you'll have to manually provide those credentials to that user. Next you want to add the role to the user. To do so, you should check the box next to Institution Supervisor and then you want to press Create. You'll see your created user here at the very top.
If a password was left blank during the creation process, then your supervisor will receive the account registration email at this time.
