Updating your email address is simple, whether you still have access to your current email or not. Follow the instructions below based on your situation:
If You Still Have Access to Your Current Email Address
You can update your email address directly from your account settings. Here’s how:
- Log in to your CompTIA account.
- Click the account icon in the upper-right corner of the page.
- Select My Login Credentials from the drop-down menu.
- Go to the My Email tab.
- Click the Edit button next to Primary Email Address.
- Enter your new email address and your current password.
- Click the Send Verification Code button.
- Check your new email address for a verification email. Follow the instructions in the email to confirm the change.
Once verified, your profile will display your updated email address.
If You No Longer Have Access to Your Current Email Address
If you can’t access the email address associated with your account, our customer service team can help update it for you. To verify your identity, please submit a help request with the following information:
- Your full name
- The mailing address on your account
- The email address currently on your account
- Your Candidate ID and/or exam registration number
Once we receive your request and verify your information, we’ll assist you in updating your email address.
