If you no longer have access to the email address associated with your account, don’t worry! Simply submit a help request, and we’ll be happy to update your email for you.
Resetting Your Password from the Sign-In Page
If you need to reset your password, follow these steps:
- Go to the CompTIA Sign In page.
- Click Reset your password.
- Enter the email address associated with your account and click Send Code.
- Check your email for the verification code.
Note: The email will come from donotreply@auth.comptia.org with the subject line “CompTIA Account Email Verification.” If you don’t see it, check your spam folder. - Enter the verification code and click Verify code.
- Click Continue to proceed.
- Create a new password that meets the provided requirements.
- Click Continue to complete the process and access your account home page.
Changing Your Password Within Your Account
If you’re already signed in, you can update your password at any time by following these steps:
- Click the account icon in the upper-right corner of the page.
- Select My login credentials.
- Click the Edit button next to Password.
- Fill out the form and click Save to update your password.
