This video will show us how to impersonate an instructor as an institution admin within the CertMaster Learn Platform.
Hello, everyone. Today, we will learn how to impersonate an instructor as an institution admin. To complete this activity, you must be assigned the administrator role allowing you access to the Institution Admin dashboard. Once logged into the Institution Admin landing page, select the "Instructors" tab. Next, select the instructor you wish to impersonate. On the top far right of your screen, select "Impersonate." A pop-up will appear, requesting confirmation to continue to log on as the instructor. Select "Ok." To confirm your impersonation, a black banner will appear at the top of the Instructor Boost Dashboard, detailing the full name and ID of the instructor you are impersonating. The benefits of impersonating an instructor is having the visibility to the instructor resources and the overall analytics in the Boost Dashboard. Admins will be able to verify that the instructor has access to all resources related to the contracts they have been assigned to. Similarly, they will be able to confirm that all students linked to the instructor via the group's feature appear in the analytics section. When you are finished impersonating the instructor, please sign out of the impersonation by selecting the X associated with Exit Impersonation on the black banner and you will be redirected to your account. You have now impersonated an instructor as an institution Admin.
