In this video, you will discover how to redeem an individual license as a student using CompTIA's SSO.
Hello, everyone. Today we will be learning how to redeem an individual license via CompTIA's single sign on, known as SSO, as a student. SSO provides unified access to CompTIA's accounts and learning products with a single login. Note that some products and access methods are excluded from SSO, including CompTIA training products with an institutional or organizational setup. These products are accessed via organization specific registration URLs, LMS integration, or direct links. For guided steps on accessing your training products outside of SSO, please review the related videos. An individual license is defined as a license purchase by a student directly from the CompTIA store, and is not linked or tied to an organization or learning institution. To redeem your individual license, log onto "login.comptia.org." If you already have a CompTIA account, use your email address and password to sign in. If you have an account but have not logged in through this page previously, create your new SSO password by selecting "Reset Your Password." If you don't already have a CompTIA account, click the "sign up now" button, and follow the steps to verify your email address and create a new account. Once logged in, select "Redeem Access Keys" at the top of the page, and you will be navigated to populate your access key. You should have received your access key upon purchase in your inbox. Your access key will appear as an attachment in your email. Open the attachment to retrieve your key. Copying and pasting your access key is best practice, because the access keys are case and space sensitive. Paste your access key into the Enter Code field bar, and click Redeem Now. A pop-up will appear, notifying you of your successfully redeemed key. Select "Access my New Training" to be redirected to your course material and begin learning. You have now successfully redeemed your individual license via SSO as a student.
