Migrate a Custom Quiz

Platform: LabSim6 

This feature takes your Custom Quizzes already created using content from the old version and helps you create a new Custom Quiz using the newest version of the product.

Steps

1. Click the Custom Quizzes
2. Across from your quiz click the more button.
3. Select Update Quiz.
4. A pop-up window briefly outlines the update detail, click Create New Quiz.
5. Another pop-up window analyses your quiz.
   • X questions had a perfect match:
     • Questions with a perfect match are automatically transferred to the new quiz.
   • X questions had a possible match:
     • You can review the questions with a possible match and use the possible match, remove the question or keep the original question as a custom question.
   • X questions had no match:
     • By default, questions with no match will be removed from the new quiz, however, you will have the option to keep original questions as a custom question (only if those questions are multiple choice questions without an image).
6. Click Continue
   • MODIFIED Questions
     1. Both the original question and the modified questions appear side by side. Please note that changes could be very subtle such as a space instead of a hyphen between two words.
     2. Select which option you prefer for each question:
     3. Use suggested question
        1. Adds question to the new quiz
     4. Remove this question
        1. Question will not appear on the quiz
     5. Add as custom question (if applicable)
        1. The question is populated in the Custom Question dialogue box. Make any changes, click Save.
     6. Scroll to view additional questions and repeat the process for each question.
     7. Click Next
   • REMOVED Questions
     1. These questions will not be on the test unless you select
        1. Add as custom question (if applicable)
        2. Make any changes, click Save.
        3. The original question has been added as a custom item.
     2. Scroll to view additional questions and repeat the process for each question.
     3. Click Next
   • REVIEW THE Quiz
     1. Scroll to review your quiz.
     2. Click Create New Quiz.
7. The migration is now complete, and a message identifies that Your quiz was successfully updated. Click OK.

Note: Your new quiz is ready to schedule any time.
