Platform: Schoology
Note: We are in the process of getting our app on the Schoology App Center, and are required to have docs online as part of the submission process. As of 5/15/2025, this article is provisional, and the app is not yet available. If all goes well, it will be available by 6/15/2025. If you return here and do not see this text, we've been approved.
Part 1: Install the CertMaster LTI Adv App
Note: You will not be able to complete this process until you have an open LMS Setup ticket with us. Please read through our article on the LMS Setup intake process, and return here once you have an open ticket.
1. As a Schoology Admin, click on the Apps icon , then the App Center button.
2. Select CertMaster LTI Adv from the list.
3. Click Install LTI 1.3 App at the top, and click I Agree.
4. Click Continue to verify you are authorizing Deep Linking, Assignment and Grade Services, and Names and Roles Services.
5. Click Add for Organization.
6. In the list that appears, find the CertMaster LTI Adv app, and click Configure to the right. Copy the Deployment ID for use in Part 2. Cancel out of the configuration dialogue.
7. Open the Registration Form that was sent in your LMS Setup ticket with CompTIA.
8. Paste the following into the Client ID field:
- 7830897240
9. Paste your Deployment ID from Step 6 into its field, and click Submit.
