Why don’t I see Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, or American Samoa in the country/region dropdown?
CompTIA has updated how certain U.S. territories are represented on CompTIA.org.
The following locations are no longer listed separately in the country/region dropdown:
- Guam
- U.S. Virgin Islands
- American Samoa
These locations are now included under United States and U.S. Territories.
What should I select?
If you are located in Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, or American Samoa, select United States and U.S. Territories as your country/region when using CompTIA.org.
Why did CompTIA make this change?
This change was made to better align CompTIA's country and territory classifications with the structure used for tax reporting.
Does this mean my territory is no longer supported?
No. These U.S. territories remain supported. The change only affects how they are classified and displayed on CompTIA.org.
