Proctor Responsibilities
Before unlocking the exam for each student, the proctor will ensure that each testing station is free of prohibited items and unauthorized materials.
Prohibited Items in the Test Room
Electronic Devices: Electronic devices are not allowed in the test room, except for personal laptops used to deliver the exam. Prohibited devices include (but are not limited to):
- Cell phones
- PDAs
- Cameras
- Pagers
- USB memory sticks
- Calculators
- Watches (including alarms)
- Listening devices (e.g., radios, headphones)
- Touchscreen laptops, tablets, and smartphones
Writing Materials: No writing instruments or paper are allowed in the test room. This includes:
- Pencils, pens, highlighters, etc.
- Paper of any kind (including scratch paper)
Miscellaneous Items: The following items are also not permitted in the test room:
- Purses, backpacks, or briefcases
- Food and drinks
- Dictionaries (including translation dictionaries)
To ensure a smooth testing experience, please leave all prohibited items outside the test room.
