Why am I being asked to link or upgrade my account?
CompTIA is improving the learner experience by moving all training products to a single, unified login system. If your learning account is not yet connected to your CompTIA account, you’ll be prompted to link and upgrade it.
What is changing?
You will soon use one CompTIA account to access all of your training products. This means no more managing multiple usernames or passwords.
How do I link or upgrade my account?
Simply follow the prompts that appear when you log in to your training product.
The system will guide you automatically:
If you already have a CompTIA account, you’ll link your learning account to it.
If you don’t have a CompTIA account yet, you’ll be guided to create one during the process.
No manual steps are needed.
What stays the same?
Your:
Course progress
Exam attempts
Grades and scores
Certifications and achievements
All remain exactly as they are.
What benefits will I get from linking my account?
Once linked, you’ll enjoy:
One login for all CompTIA training products
A centralized dashboard for your learning resources
Seamless access to newly purchased or assigned products
A smoother learning and support experience
- Certification Exam scheduling
- Completed Certifications access
Where will I log in going forward?
Your primary login page will be:
Use this URL to access your CompTIA account and training products going forward.
What if I linked the wrong account?
No worries. Contact CompTIA Support, and we can help correct or unlink accounts.
How do I know if I need to link my account?
If you:
- See a message asking you to upgrade, link, or connect your account when signing in to a CompTIA product, or
- Previously used a separate login specifically for a learning platform and are now being redirected to login.comptia.org, then your account likely needs to be linked. Just follow the prompts that appear when you sign in.
