CompTIA’s Continuing Education Program allows you to simultaneously keep your skills current while validating your expertise. If you have earned one of the following CompTIA certifications, you have three years from the date your certification was earned or renewed to complete the CE Program requirements to remain certified.

- CompTIA Linux+ (XK0-004 and XK0-005)
- CompTIA Linux+ (Powered by LPI)
- CompTIA Cloud+
- CompTIA PenTest+
- CompTIA CySA+
- CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+)
CompTIA Certifications Good-for-Life (GFL)
CompTIA certifications that don't need to be renewed are considered CompTIA Certifications Good-for-Life (GFL) and do not expire.
- CompTIA IT Fundamentals (ITF+)
- CompTIA Cloud Essentials+
- CompTIA Server+
- CompTIA Project+
Note: If you earned a CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+ or CompTIA Security+ certification prior to January 1, 2011, the certification is considered GFL and does not expire.
