CompTIA certifications cannot be renewed once they have expired. You have a three-year window from the date you earn your certification to complete the Continuing Education (CE) Program requirements and maintain your certification.
To offer additional flexibility, we provide a 90-day grace period after your certification’s expiration date. During this time, you can upload CEUs that were completed within your original three-year renewal cycle. Please note that CE activities completed after your certification’s expiration date are not eligible for submission.
If your certification has expired, and you do not have CEUs earned within your original three-year renewal cycle, or if the 90-day grace period has passed, you can regain your certification by taking and passing the current certification exam.
