Prepare the Workstation
- Save any open files.
- Close all open windows before launching Pearson VUE Browser Lock.
Security Software Settings
- Ensure security software does not block JavaScript.
- Some internet security or antivirus software may require an exception for the Pearson VUE Browser Lock secure browser.
Printer Installation (Optional)
- Consider installing a printer so test takers can print their score reports after completing the exam.
Keyboard Shortcuts
- Ctrl + R: Refreshes Browser Lock
- Alt + P: Moves to the previous item
- Alt + N: Moves to the next item
Trusted Sites Configuration
- Open Control Panel.
- Select Internet Options.
- Select the Security tab.
- Select Trusted Sites.
- Select Sites.
